Thanks to efforts by community leaders, Working America members and concerned working families, two harmful propositions in Phoenix were defeated.

In a landslide vote in August, Phoenix voters defeated the Koch-funded effort to squash a local public transportation project and a proposition that would have defunded libraries, parks and homeless shelters.
