Working America surveyed 223 GTA bus passengers in July of 2018. The survey found that many people wanted to see greater public investment in extending routes and creating a more regular and reliable service. The group relies heavily on the bus service for essentials, such as work, education, shopping and medical visits. An astounding one out of every four bus passengers has to walk more than a mile to catch the bus.
